Documents and conversion content

The current ilovemd converters read and process compatible text and files inside your browser. ilovemd does not receive or store that document content on a conversion server. Closing or refreshing the tab may remove unsaved work, so download anything you want to keep.

If a document references a remote image, your browser may request it from its host. That host may receive ordinary network data, including your IP address and browser information, under its own privacy policy.

Technical data used to deliver and protect the site

Our hosting, delivery, and security providers may process limited logs needed to serve and protect ilovemd. These logs can include an IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, date and time, referrer, and error or security events. Retention is controlled by the relevant provider and operational need.

Local storage, analytics, advertising, and accounts

ilovemd may use browser storage for settings or work that you explicitly choose to keep on your device. The site does not currently require an account and does not currently run analytics, personalized advertising, or payment tracking. We will update this policy and add consent controls before optional analytics or advertising storage is enabled where consent is required.

Legal reasons, disclosure, and retention

Technical data is processed to operate, secure, debug, and improve the service, and to comply with law. We do not sell document content. We may disclose limited information when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or during a business reorganization. We keep information only for as long as the relevant purpose or legal requirement calls for.

Your choices and rights

You can clear local browser data, block optional storage, or stop using the site. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information. Because ilovemd does not receive browser-processed document content, we generally cannot retrieve a document that stayed on your device.

Children, international processing, and security

ilovemd is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13. Hosting and security providers may process technical data in countries other than yours. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
